April Raffle 2024


As a thank you to all of our wonderful customers that continue to support our lovely business of high-quality herbal products manufacturing, we are offering a raffle for the month of April instead of a Spring sale!

There will be one grand prize winner for the raffle and the winner shall receive a $150 gift certificate to spend on Prairie Star Products!

The time frame for entering into the raffle is April 1st through April 30th 2024 and the winner will be drawn and announced during our Annual Plant Sale on Thursday, May 2nd 2024.

Here is how you can enter:

  • Leave a product review directly on our website (we will not be accepting reviews left on social media or other platforms)
  • Leave a Google business review on our Google business profile
  • For every product review left on our website, you will receive 1 ticket entry for the drawing
  • For every Google business review left on our profile, you will receive 5 ticket entries
  • If you have already left a Google business review and/or a product review(s), please reach out to us directly and we will count those for the raffle drawing

There is no limit as to how many product reviews you leave on our website, nor a required minimum for a product review; it can be as simple as "It's great!". Although product reviews with more detail are much more appreciated as it can help other customers determine if the product is right for them.

There is a limit to one Google business review per customer, which is why we are incorporating reviews left prior to this raffle. You must have a Google account in order to leave the review.

Annual Plant Sale 2024

Join us for our Annual Plant Sale this May, Thursday 5-2-24 from 3:00 - 6:00 PM!

Meet local growers and fellow plant enthusiasts alike to exchange stories, ideas, and excitement with the community! This is a great opportunity to pick up locally grown/sourced plant starts for your medicinal, culinary, or native plant/pollinator gardens!

Vendors and plant varieties may vary from year to year, however the options seem never-ending. This event is a CASH-PREFERRED event, but some vendors may be set up to accept checks, card payments, or other forms of payment. Cash is recommended so you do not miss out on the opportunities that lie before you! We also recommend supplying your own box/crate/tub for carrying your new plant babies, some will be provided but we will not have enough for all participants.

Plant pricing varies from vendor to vendor, but typically stays within the range of $5-$10 per plant. The event happens right here out of our building located at:

  • Prairie Star Botanicals - 321 N 16th St. Blair, NE 68008

Pre-sales will not be accepted, nor will we hold any plants for customers if they cannot make it to the event. Each vendor is its own business and all plants purchased from that vendor must be purchased at that table/booth setup. We typically have 5-7 vendors with the following varieties:

  • Shade plants such as Black Cohosh, Goldenseal, Solomon's Seal, Bloodroot, Mayapple. assorted trees and shrubs
  • Culinary plants such as assorted tomatoes and peppers, Dill, Rosemary, assorted squashes, Basil, Cilantro, Lettuce, Sage, and more!
  • Medicinal plants such as Ashwagandha, White Horehound, Mugwort, St. John's Wort, Yarrow, Holy Basil, and more!
  • Native/Pollinator plants such as Anise Hyssop, Wild Bergamot, Motherwort, Milkweeds, Purple Prairie Clover, and more!
